Meet Our Team
Born and raised on the family farm in Earls Barton (where our studio is located today), Charlie developed a keen interest in photography in his late teens. At that time, he was working in the shoe industry at Barker Shoes (started by his great grandfather) and used photography to record new shoe designs in Italy. Having mastered his craft, he went professional back in 1985 and hasn’t looked back since. Ask him what he loves photographing best and he will probably tell you aerial views from a helicopter, cars and food - quite an eclectic mix.
But Charlie's talents are not confined to the camera, he is also the creator of Pip Ahoy! a delightful pre-school children's animation that is voiced by Sir David Jason OBE and currently being shown on TV. By the way - you can call him Charles, but most of his friends know him as 'Charlie'
When he's not taking pictures for CWP, you will often find Charlie at classic car and aircraft shows taking photographs for himself. View Charlie's personal portfolio: click here
