My company’s strap-line has always been “ Let Our Pictures Do The Talking” - (with apologies to the old Yellow Pages advert - “Let Your Fingers Do The Walking”) Mine, obviously plays on the fact that a picture really is worth a thousand words, but can also evoke many memories and can be the basis of a great conversation - enter PhotoChat.

As I look back over hundreds of thousands of photographs that I have taken over the past 40 years, many of them take me right back to the moment I pressed the shutter, thus capturing a moment in time, never to be exactly repeated.

PhotoChat will be part of my new YouTube channel, which will involve walking around Salcombe, taking pictures and talking about photographs such as this one on the left - you might recognise this chap! I look forward to hearing your own stories.
