Learning to See

This half day course involves seeing pictures, as apposed to merely looking. Seeing photographs, often involves changing your point of view, waiting for a subject to move, or the light to change. Digital photography has opened up the world of photography to us all, but it can also make us sloppy and ‘snap happy’. As someone, who started my career taking photographs on film, it cost us money every time we pressed the shutter. Therefore, we tended to take our time and consider the possible image carefully before taking it.

Someone once said ‘get out more and take less pictures’, which some up this course very well, as you will come back with less photographs, but the ones taken will be real ‘keepers’
