Finding the DBS
My Grandfather, Albert Barker, certainly had a penchant for Aston Martin motorcars, having owned a DB 4, 5 and a 6. As a young boy, I spent many a happy hour in the rear seats of these majestic machines, sliding across the seats as Grandpa threw the car into the bends.
Then in September of 1968, he purchased a beautiful white DBS model, with a four litre straight six engine and the width of an American muscle car. I was now ten years old and this was my bedroom pin-up machine. I was on love!
